This capstone course provides experiential learning using case studies and simulated learning experiences. The goal is to provide students with real-world practice implementing the Medical Billing skills learned in the program.
Job-seeking skills, including resume writing, completing job applications, and interviewing for a Medical Billing position, will be explored. Opportunities for personal and professional growth will be discussed. Additionally, students will gain an understanding of a career path that includes certification and other areas of the billing profession.
