The focus of this course will emphasize the application of leadership and management principles in professional nursing practice. Students will provide safe, client-centered, evidence-based care for adult clients with multiple health deviations in an acute care settings. Utilizing the nursing process and clinical judgement model, students will develop and re?ne their therapeutic care skills. The course also integrates leadership theory by involving students in collaborative experiences with registered nurses in a leadership role. This hands-on approach prepares students to assume leadership roles and effectively manage nursing care within the healthcare system.
