Students may be awarded financial assistance, if eligible, based on the number of financial aid credit units they will earn. For non-degree programs, the U.S. Department of Education requires that students earn one financial aid credit unit for each 20 clock hours of instruction. For degree programs, the units are based on total academic credits in the program. Students may obtain additional information regarding financial aid credit units from the Financial Aid Office on campus.
