What career development services does ACC offer?
ACC provides career planning and advising, job placement assistance, one-on-one career counseling, professional development support through career preparation workshops, annual employer job fairs, networking opportunities, resume and interview workshops, guidance on externships and clinical rotations, and employer panels.
Does ACC offer accelerated programs?
Yes! Our Optical Technician, Medical Billing, Medical Coding, Medical Assistant, Dental Assisting, and Pharmacy Technician healthcare programs are all designed to be completed in under a year.
Can you provide more information on externships and clinical rotations?
During externship and clinical training, students work under the supervision of a qualified preceptor chosen by the school and receive general oversight from school staff. They receive valuable experience in real-world settings such as doctor’s offices, hospitals, clinics, and more. Students' performance is evaluated by supervisors, and these evaluations are kept in their permanent records.
Does my son/daughter need a co-signer for their student loan?
Your son or daughter can get a student loan without a co-signer but having one might be better. A co-signer can help them qualify for a loan. Our financial aid advisors will be happy to help you determine if having a co-signer is beneficial for your son or daughter’s specific situation.
