"To be honest, I didn't really know too much about ACC because, in California, the education system doesn't push trade tech schools," Dominick shared. However, once he broadened his mindset and explored trade schools, he realized that ACC stood out. Choosing the Vocational Nursing Program
The decision to join the VN program at ACC-Ontario was strategic and purposeful. "The VN program was the best way for me to get my foot into nursing," he explained. "ACC really surpassed my expectations for what we think a trade school is," he said. One of the highlights of Dominick's journey was the friendships he forged. "My favorite thing about the VN program was honestly the friends that I made," he reflected. "The support of the friends that I made in my cohort supported me in a lot of ways and moments that I thought I wouldn't be able to excel," he noted.
