50 Recruiters Flock to ACC-OC Career Fair

More than 50 employers attended American Career College-Orange County's career fair and open house event in May.

Organizations including Cedars Sinai, UC Irvine Health, St. Joseph Heritage, Kaiser Permanente, Sharp Memorial, Scripps Hospital, Davita Healthcare Partners, North Coast Rehab, AltaMed, MemorialCare, Costco Optical, CVS, JCPenney, Walgreens and Western Dental were taking resumes and talking to ACC graduates and students about filling open positions.

"The energy was excellent and the employers were very impressed with ACC and our students and graduates. This is by far one of the best career fairs yet," ACC-OC Career Services Director Johnny Lacey said. "I want to give a huge amount of praise to my Career Services team, who coordinated and managed this flawless event."

Lacey also praised the efforts of Diane Chamuryan and the Admissions team for hosting an open house, as well as providing a "selfie" booth.

"I want to thank all the program directors and instructors for encourging their students to attend," he added. "The students made a great impression on our employers and there is already great news of our graduates being interviewed and hired into positions."
