ACC Student Spotlight: Diana Esperanza Camero

As a single mother of three, Diana Esperanza Camaro doesn't have to look far for inspiration.

"(My children) inspire me every single day to be better, to be better for them," she said. "As a single parent, it's tough but it's not impossible so if I can work, go to school and still get straight A's ... it's an accomplishment."

Currently enrolled in the surgical technology program at American Career College-Ontario, Camaro loves the thought of being right next to a surgeon, anticipating their every move in the operating room. She also likes that ACC's surgical technology program will allow her to work wherever she wants.

"I love that they offer degree program and that was one of the highlights. National certification was a plus because I plan to move out of state and continue practice so that was definitely a plus versus other programs," she said. "And the job placement in Career Services is amazing."
