A little rain couldn't dampen the spirits at American Career College-Orange County as the campus celebrated the school's 40th anniversary.
Between brief periods of sprinkling rain, ACC-Orange County students enjoyed In-and-Out burgers and played games like water pong and jumbo Jenga to begin a week of student appreciation days across all three ACC campuses this January.
"American Career College will be celebrating its 40th anniversary all year long and this event is really the kickoff of that," ACC Chief Student Experience Officer Susan Pailet said.
Founded 40 years ago as the American College of Optics, ACC now maintains three campuses and offers 13 programs of study.
“To get where we are today, many people have worked hard over the years, faculty and associates,” ACC CEO and founder David Pyle said. “And as I look back, I'm very grateful for the long line of faculty and associates that we've had over these 40 years to get us to this place, to help our students succeed and I'm looking forward to the next 40 years.”
