Kelly has over 29 years of experience as a certified pharmacy technician and more than 8 years working in higher education. She holds multiple certifications including those in chemotherapy and medication therapy management. Kelly is licensed in three states: California, Texas and Louisiana.
Kelly received her Bachelor’s in General Studies with a specialization in History and Psychology. In addition, she holds an Associate in Pharmacy Technology. A proud veteran, Kelly became a pharmacy technician in the US Air Force and was among the first certified pharmacy technicians in all branches of service.
Kelly has worked extensively in several types of pharmacies, having also managed one herself. Her diverse experience spans IV compounding, non-sterile compounding, chemotherapy, insurance billing, inventory management, patient counseling, pediatric and family medicine pharmacy, long-term care and more.
