A graduate of the ACC-LA Optics program herself, Jacsia has worked in the field for almost 30 years. She is certified by the American Board of Optometry as well as licensed by the state of California as a Registered Spectacle Dispenser. Before assuming the role of Program Director, Jacsia served as the Externship Coordinator for the ACC-LA Optical Technician program. She worked for Luxottica for 13 years and worked for National Vision for 4 years.
