Christina LeDoux has been an educator in the areas of medical assisting, medical billing, medical coding, health information management and compliance since the mid-2000s. Her experience includes medical assistant front and back office administration, coding and reimbursement management, corporate responsibility auditing, medical billing, medical assisting and healthcare fraud investigation.
Ms. LeDoux has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with certification in medical assisting (NCMA) and as a medical billing specialist (NCMBS).

The OC Medical Assistant program can be completed in as little as 9 months. This blended program combines online coursework with two days per week of hands-on instruction at ACC’s Orange County campus. To earn their diploma, students are required to complete a 200-hour clinical externship for real-world experience.
MA students train in an on-campus medical assistant lab — building essential skills like measuring vital signs, operating medical equipment, performing routine lab tests, and preparing exam rooms. The lab includes industry-current tools and equipment such as electrocardiogram (EKG) machines, blood pressure monitors, medical office equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
Students also demonstrate and reinforce their skills through a 200-hour clinical externship at a local healthcare facility.
