His experience includes 21 years as a US Navy Hospital Corpsman, specializing in clinical management, medical treatment and training. Mr. Fick’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, both obtained from Purdue University Global. His academic pursuits have equipped him with a deep understanding
In his previous role as Registrar at Concorde Career College, Mr. Fick’s dedication and attention to detail led to his recognition as the 2020 Torch Award recipient, also known as Employee of the Year, as well as the Above and Beyond Award for Crisis Management in the same year.
Between 2017 and 2018, Mr. Fick served as the Director of Education at California Long-Term Care Education Center, where he provided expert leadership and guidance for educational programs and a team of seven instructors.
From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Fick served as Allied Health Program Chair at Kaplan College, where he was instrumental in increasing student participation in certification exams, resulting in pass rates above the national average.

The program is offered in a blended format, combining online coursework with two days per week of in-person instruction at ACC’s Los Angeles campus. Students also complete a 200-hour externship to gain real-world experience in a medical setting.
Medical assistant students train in an industry-current lab practicing skills such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and assisting with minor procedures.
