Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Registered respiratory therapist (RRT) is a credential awarded to respiratory therapists who have passed the advanced level examination administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), signifying a higher level of expertise in the field. After successfully completing a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the RRT exam.
