American Career College-Ontario recently honored graduates from its Associate Degree in Nursing program with a heartfelt pinning ceremony, marking a proud milestone in their journey toward becoming registered nurses.
“It feels great. It feels exciting… I’m just so used to clocking in, clocking out, going to classes, going back home, studying a lot. But it feels great to finally celebrate,” shared ADN graduate Kirk P.
For Kirk, the people at ACC made all the difference. “The professors here in ACC were just wonderful. They were really experienced teachers… a lot of the professors from the ADN program were just special.”
While the ceremony celebrated academic achievement, it also honored the friendships that grew stronger with every challenge.
“I’m glad we all passed and got through the struggles together,” said Nayeli M. “We met through the program, and we’re going to miss each other the most, laughing every day and going through it all side by side.”
Classmate Brianna K. agreed, adding, “There’s always that one teacher or clinical instructor that sparks something in you and keeps you going. That kept us in a good place.”
When asked what she’d tell future nursing students, Nayeli didn’t hesitate: “Even through the hard nights, you’ll get through it. It’ll all be worth it in the end. It’s long days, but it goes fast.”
American Career College’s ADN program blends hands-on clinical training with the guidance of experienced faculty, preparing students for a rewarding and flexible nursing career. The program is offered at the Los Angeles and Ontario campuses.
