Clinical Partner Spotlight: MedAmerica Billing Services Inc.

MedAmerica Billing Services Inc. has provided billing services for emergency rooms for more than 20 years.

We spoke with Courtney Proffitt with MedAmerica at American Career College-Ontario's Health Fair in April about how they partner with ACC-Ontario and what they look for in candidates.

“I look to American Career College when I start to seek new applicants,” Proffitt shared. “I work closely with the placement team here and our positions are really unique so having someone who has gone through courses and are specifically trained is really important.”

Proffitt also shared that in addition to graduates being quick on the 10-key for medical billing and coding, “What I’m coming to expect from American Career College are people who are eager to learn. We’re always looking to bring on the finest talent we can find.”
