Spring has sprung at American Career College-Lynwood!
Students and staff at ACC-Lynwood held a Spring Fling Easter basket challenge and the response was incredible.
Thanks to the generosity of the students at our ACC-Lynwood campus, 110 Easter baskets were collected and filled with goodies to benefit children at St. Francis Medical Center. The baskets were distributed by student ambassadors on March 23.
“A big shout out to Norlean Cedeno and Bertha Mohamed for organizing the festivities,” ACC-Lynwood Executive Director Lani Townsend said. “A celebration of our students’ participation was well deserved and special thanks to Nikki La Pardo for initiating the concept for this drive.”
St. Francis Medical Center thanked the volunteers on Facebook for their time and effort gathering and delivering the baskets.
"They will be given to children we care for in our Pediatrics Unit, Emergency Department, Children's Counseling Center, and Health Benefits Resource Center," the Facebook post read. "We are so pleased to be community partners with you, American Career College at St. Francis!"
