Nearly 100 students, faculty and staff from American Career College made the drive to Anaheim for the 2018 Orange County Heart & Stroke Walk this March.
"It was really quite amazing to see everyone come together to help a cause that is so meaningful to all of us," ACC Chief Student Experience Officer Susan Pailet said. "Many friends and family members (and dogs) showed up too and added to the excitement of the day."
ACC helped raised more than $8,000 for the 5-kilometer run/walk in and around Angels Stadium to increase awareness about stroke and heart disease and to support the American Heart Association. ACC-Los Angeles was the most generous of the campuses, with more than $3,000 in donations.
Highlights from the day included:
Ontario Campus: Voted Best Career College in the 2024 Inland Valley Daily Bulletin Readers Choice Awards.
LA Campus: Voted Best Career College in the 2024 LA Daily News Readers Choice Awards.
