Prior to becoming a student at American Career College, Stephanie Rosales was in a cycle of working jobs she did not enjoy. It wasn’t until she heard the advice and experiences of her aunt in the Medical Billing and Coding field, that Stephanie decided to return to school to make a change toward a more fulfilling career path.
Stephanie discovered American Career College through a few of her friends that graduated and went on to become medical assistants and nurses. With the encouragement of her alumni network and words of wisdom from her aunt, she decided to apply to ACC and begin her journey in the MBC program at the Orange County campus in Anaheim.
“I’ve always heard a lot of good things about American Career College,” she shared. “That’s why I decided to come.”
Now, Stephanie is beginning her externship and is excited about the new direction of her career.
“If you want to get into the healthcare industry, I believe that Medical Billing and Coding is a really good field to get into,” she said. “I really like it.”
As she reflects on the start of her journey at ACC , Stephanie’s one piece of advice to herself would have been to “not stress too much about it.” She shared how those around her have been there to help along the way, making her time in the program enjoyable.
To those considering joining the ACC family, Stephanie shares “it’s a really good learning experience.”
