Students at American Career College-Ontario got one step closer to their futures while celebrating their hard work recently when the campus Career Fair was held in conjunction with the Spring Appreciation Day.
“Student Appreciation Day at ACC is a well-known event held every six months to recognize and celebrate students for their hard work,” said ACC Student Services Director Chandra D. “It’s a great way to show appreciation for students and create a positive, energetic atmosphere.”
The student celebration featured a lively DJ, superhero-themed dress-up fun, and no-cost In-N-Out burgers. Meanwhile, the Career Fair welcomed 38 employer partners from a range of industries. Students had the chance to learn about job opportunities, practice interview techniques, and hear directly from professionals about industry expectations.
ACC-Ontario Career Services Director Juan J. said there were 10 on-site interviews conducted at the Career Fair and three graduates have already been hired from two different programs.
“There was a lot of energy — students enjoyed their In-N-Out burgers and then jumped right into conversations with employers from their fields,” Juan said. “We had a high number of employer requests to return for future events and to visit classrooms for guest speaking opportunities and informational sessions.”
