ACC-Long Beach Named 'Best Career College' for Fifth Consecutive Year

Forget three. At American Career College-Long Beach, five is the magic number.

For the fifth year in a row, ACC-Long Beach was named the Long Beach Press-Telegram's Readers Choice Award for "Best Career College." To celebrate the win, ACC-Long Beach executive director Lani Townsend bought students and staff lunch. For dessert, there was a donut-eating contest.

"The students really loved the donut contest," Student Resource Center manager Chandra Deveroux said. "Everyone had their phones out to record the action and was laughing the whole time. We'll have to do it again when we win next year!"

Achieving a five-peat, Townsend said, acknowledges the quality of the students' educational experience and the passion for excellence delivered by every faculty and associate at the campus.

"It truly is every student, every day, every time," Townsend said. "Did someone say dynasty?"
