American Career College is ABHES accredited and has 12 healthcare training programs to choose from, including Medical Assistant, Dental Assisting and Vocational Nursing. We have many classes that start throughout the year, so chances are good that there's a new healthcare class starting soon. Some programs can even be completed in as little as 9 months. We give you hands-on experience in fully decked-out labs to help prepare you for the real world.
Get hands-on training that feels real from day one! Learn how to assist with dental procedures, take dental x-rays, manage patient records, provide patient care, and more. Build confidence in labs designed to mirror real dental offices. Our blended learning model combines online classes with in-person training twice a week, so you can finish in as little as 10 months. Blended weekend classes are also offered at all three campuses for extra flexibility.
Turn your passion for helping others into a career. Train hands-on to be a licensed vocational nurse (LVN). Learn critical skills such as providing excellent patient care, taking vitals, collecting & reporting data, and more. Prepare to sit for the national licensing exam to become an LVN. With over 800 hours of clinical training, you’ll get the real-world experience and job-ready skills you need to succeed from day one. Begin your nursing journey today!

The HSE Academy preparation program is not offered or taught by American Career College. HSE Academy is not accredited by ABHES. While HSE Academy does offer a no-cost HSE Test preparation program, choosing the HSE Academy program to fulfill the high school equivalency admissions requirement is in no way required to enroll at American Career College. There are many HSE Test preparation programs in the state of California. Be sure to research and compare different programs before making a final decision. The HSE Academy program is offered in a hybrid format combining online and in-person classes. Instruction is available in both English and Spanish.
