February 6, 2015

Longtime St. Francis Medical Center executive Harding G. Young, MD, will be the keynote speaker this Saturday at American Career College’s 2015 winter graduation ceremony at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California.

Approximately 900 graduates of American Career College’s wide array of healthcare programs in addition to about 9,000 family and friends of the graduates will be in attendance to hear Dr. Young’s talk.

"Hearing Dr. Young speak about his breadth of experience in medicine and healthcare is a fantastic opportunity for our graduates who are forging a career in this exciting field,” American Career College President Tom McNamara said. “This will be a great honor for all of us.”

Dr. Young is presently the medical director for the Palliative/Supportive Care program and the Skilled Nursing Facility at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, where one of ACC’s five Southern California campuses, American Career College at St. Francis is also located.

Dr. Young is a 25-year veteran of St. Francis Medical Center and also serves on the hospital’s Board of Directors and Board of Trustees.

“American Career College was founded in Los Angeles in 1978 and has evolved into one of the largest healthcare educators in Southern California,” McNamara said.

The graduation ceremony is scheduled to begin at noon on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015. Citizens Business Bank Arena is located at 4000 East Ontario Center Parkway in Ontario, California.
