Clinical Partner Spotlight: Massage Envy

Some companies have growing pains, Massage Envy is just growing.

“We’re growing as we speak. In the Inland Empire, Massage Envy has 19 locations. We’re all over Southern California and we are the largest employer of massage therapists nationwide," Julie Peterson, a Massage Envy recruiter, said at a recent ACC-Ontario career fair. "We’re always hiring."

Peterson loves to employ ACC grads, she said, because of the program's reputation forproducing well-rounded massage therapists.

"You need obviously the trade of massage — anatomy, physiology — but we also look for a full circle. We want them to be able to communicate to people, to educate our clients about massage and how important it is," she said. "And I know that American Career College does that because they work very closely with the students to prepare them for the career-world of massage.”
