The American Career College-Orange County campus celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day this May with a lunch and dinner potluck provided by the administration.
"Student ambassadors created two large banners signed by students and staff thanking the teachers for their dedication, belief and support in helping our students reach their academic goals," ACC-Orange County Student Services Director Valerie Dickson said.
Additionally, students surprised their teachers with items like balloons filled with positive comments, small cards and other tokens of their appreciation. The teachers were all very grateful for the recognition from the associates, and especially, from their students, Dickson added.
"Over the past week, the Student Services offices have been filled with students waiting to add their thanks and appreciation to the banners," Dickson said. "It’s been really fun and uplifting to see the students show up in groups to make sure their teachers know how much they are valued and appreciated."
