We caught up with Leticia Arzate right after her vocational nursing program pinning at American Career College-Ontario and she was kind enough to take the time to answer a few of our questions.
When we asked her for an introduction, Arzate said she was a vocational nursing student. She then quickly corrected herself, adding "now graduate."
A lot passion for it, I like caring for people and now I love caring for people. My experiences with ACC have been nothing but magical through all the clinical rotations, all the instructors I have had. It's been just a wonderful experience and has strengthened my passion for nursing even more.
Don't give up. Ask the instructors for help and they're more than willing to help you more than one instructor will be willing to help you with any subject and for anybody choosing this career: The more, the merrier. You'll love it. It's a great program and it's a great profession.
My family. My friends are supportive. Many other people. The support of the instructors as well and my classmates. When we see some of us faltering, feeling like, the feelings of helplessness. We're just there to strengthen one another and say like 'No, you can keep going. You, you've gotten this far -- just keep going. You're almost there,' so it's become a really strong bond between all of us.
