On April 27th, 2013, ACC Massage Therapy instructor, Deborah Cangialosi and two students, Yul Ochoa and Jayden Sillert from ACC’s Ontario campus took part in World Taiji & Qigong Day by performing free massages. This free community event was to promote awareness of the profound health benefits of these traditional Chinese practices. Taiji & Qigong offer many physically, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits!
On Saturday, April 13th, 2013, American Career College Optical Dispensing Externship Coordinator, Marcial Torrez-Jimenez volunteered with California Lions Friends in Sight at a Community Health Fair at Marshall Middle School in Pomona, CA. Those who attended the event received complimentary eyeglass fittings, eyeglass cleanings, and health screenings. Overall, hundreds of pairs of eyeglasses were donated to local community members in need. Check out photos from the event below.

On Saturday, March 9th, 15 ACC Ontario Massage Therapy students volunteered their time, hands, and talents at the 5th annual Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Community 5K runathon/walkathon.
This was the fourth year that American Career College participated in this event. The American Career College students gave 115 pre-event & post-event massages for event participants. This event is designed to help bring awareness to healthier diets, exercise, and lifestyles.
We would like to thank Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for allowing ACC to participate in this event. In addition, a big thank you goes out to the students who gave the massages and to everyone at the ACC Ontario campus who was part of this great event!
On Tuesday, March 12th, 2013, American Career College campuses held an Open House event that consisted of music, campus tours, networking, free refreshments, and more. This was an excellent opportunity to learn more about ACC by chatting with current ACC students, teachers, and Program Directors. In addition, tours of our hands-on labs, classrooms, and facilities at our Los Angeles, Orange County, Ontario, and Long Beach campuses were provided by our knowledgeable Program Directors and Admissions Advisors.

On Tuesday, February 19th, 2013, American Career College celebrated its 35 year anniversary. ACC’s Los Angeles, Orange County, and Ontario campuses invited students, alumni, faculty, staff, and members of the community to partake in a day of celebration. The festivities included massages provided by ACC massage therapy students, great music, food, contests, dancing, and more.
Since its inception in 1978, American Career College has been training dedicated individuals for exciting and rewarding careers in health care. In that time, over 35,000 students have graduated from ACC, many of whom are playing key roles in the Southern California health care sector today.
