On Monday, June 18th, 2012, American Career College’s Ontario Campus joined forces with the American Red Cross to hold a blood drive. With the continued efforts of the American Red Cross, and ACC’s caring community, we were able to donate 95 pints of blood. With this donation, we will help save approximately 285 lives. This was a phenomenal outcome, and ACC truly appreciates the American Red Cross and everyone who was involved in this life changing event.
In exchange for a blood donation, donors were given two tickets to the Laugh Factory, two tickets to a LA Galaxy game, and a free taco from Wahoo’s. But those who donated blood were most excited about the fact that their donation could save lives. We are very thankful to our students and community members who were able to take the time out of their day to donate.
We’d like to thank the American Red Cross for their support and for continuing to join forces with American Career College for this extraordinary cause. The American Red Cross has partnered with ACC several times in the past, and we hope to donate even more pints in the future!
