Congratulations 2012 American Career College Ontario Graduates!

On Thursday, April 26, 2012, graduates of American Career College in Ontario walked out onto the Citizen Business Bank Arena’s stage, accepted their diplomas and degrees, and walked away with the knowledge and skills necessary to start new careers. Filled with joy, our students were excited to graduate and start their new lives. Families hugged and cried as the proud graduates went to greet them after the ceremony, so happy to know that a brighter future lay ahead.

We are so proud of our graduates and thank them for trusting us on the journey that culminated on that Arena stage. Our graduates aspire to be the best at their chosen health care careers and we are happy to help them work hard and achieve that aspiration. It is rewarding for all associates at ACC to watch the students graduate and to witness the success they acquire afterwards.

To Our Graduates:

Great job class of 2012! We hope that the future brings more happy events and that your “one change” will help you conquer doubts, recognize your value, and succeed in a career you love.

On-Campus Blood Drive Event

Our ACC campuses host blood drives throughout the year to support the American Red Cross. On February 14, 2011, the Los Angeles campus Blood Drive event drew student and employee participants who collectively donated 58 units of blood- with the ability to save the lives of 174 patients! Thanks to all who donated.

Patriot Award is given to American Career College instructor, Kirk Kennedy

Kirk Kennedy, Pharmacy Technician instructor at American Career College’s Ontario campus is at it again! He has had a medical abbreviation rap posted on YouTube, and even won teacher of the year in 2010. This time he is being honored by the military itself! Mr. Kennedy received the Patriot Award in February 2012 for going above and beyond in the classroom. The Patriot Award is given out by the ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves) to say thank you to employers who show strong support for the National Guard and the Reserves. Mr. Kennedy was nominated by Joshua Navarro, an American Career College student who is currently serving in the National Guard. This award not only honors Mr. Kennedy, but also honors American Career College.

We would like to thank Mr. Kennedy for this incredible achievement and for his continued support to the National Guard and Reserves, his students, and American Career College. You can also view Kirk Kennedy’s medical abbreviation rap, click here.
