GED Prep Program

To help our students succeed, American Career College offers GED preparation, practice testing and on-campus GED testing in a comfortable, safe classroom environment.* If you need some help getting ready for the GED, just let us know. We have a program specifically designed for this.

GED Prep Programs

While not all programs require a high school diploma or GED, we encourage all students to look into earning a GED before they graduate. GED stands for General Educational Development, and is a nationally recognized certificate of high school equivalency. The GED exam consists of five tests over two days: writing, social studies, science, mathematics, and reading.

At ACC, we want to do everything we can to help you succeed. We offer GED preparation, practice testing and on-campus GED testing in a comfortable, safe, classroom environment.*

We'll work with you to set up an individualized schedule to help you prepare.

We'll also supply teaching, tutoring and take-home study materials. If necessary, we will refer you to a public adult school for added help.

If you pass an official in-house practice test while an ACC student, ACC pays for your GED test fees. And we offer a $100 award for passing the GED and silver cords to wear at graduation. See the GED staff for details.
