When you enrolled at ACC, you wanted to get ready for the working world. Take a look at some of the many things our dedicated staff does to help you advance in your career.
As you prepare for graduation, it's time to think about that next big step. Together, we'll pursue every avenue to place you in your first health care career - and beyond. Although we cannot guarantee the securing of positions, the Career Services Department will equip you with the tools to find and maintain desirable employment. The department is staffed with full-time employment professionals that will guide you in building your career.
The Career Services Department assists students and graduates with the following:
- Career planning and advising
- Interviewing skills
- Techniques of resume preparation
- Job leads
- Completing job applications
- Networking
- Professional attire workshops
- Interview follow-up
- Time management
And remember, our Career Services don't stop when you graduate. Employment assistance is available on an ongoing basis to American Career College graduates as long as you remain in the health care field.
